Our story
We started with a hallway.
Not a laboratory, not a brand deck. A hallway in a Miami hotel that smelled so specific and so composed that our founder went looking for the machine behind it — and found that nothing comparable was sold to people for their own homes.
Why we exist
Commercial scenting was a closed industry.
The equipment that scents hotels, boutiques and lobbies has been sold on annual service contracts to facilities managers for decades. It works, and it was never meant to be bought by an individual for a house.
What reached consumers instead was a different category altogether: heated plug-ins, water misters and candles — all of which either burn off a composition's top notes or dilute it past recognition, and none of which cover more than a corner of a room.
Ambiance AirScents exists to close that gap. The same waterless cold-air diffusion, the same class of fragrance oil, sized and priced for a home, with no service contract and no facilities manager.

Restraint over intensity
A room that announces its fragrance has failed. We tune concentration down until the scent is felt rather than identified — which is where the good hotels sit, and where almost nothing sold for the home does.

The whole pyramid, or none of it
We only build compositions that survive diffusion intact. If a note cannot make it into the air the way the perfumer wrote it, the formula goes back rather than out.

Nothing to get out of
No contracts, no automatic charges, no dark patterns in the account page. You order a refill when you want one — we would rather be bought again because it is good than because stopping is difficult.

Honest about what it is
Fragrance oil, an air pump and a schedule. We do not make wellness claims we cannot support, and we do not dress a diffuser up as a health device.

Blended, bottled and shipped from a single facility, which is how we keep lead times short and batches consistent. We ship across the United States.
